How We Started
Sitesycamorecore began in 2019 when our founder, former industrial HVAC technician Park Seo-jin, received three returned Antminer units from a colleague’s hosting operation in Daegu. Each unit passed a five-minute bench test but throttled within six hours of rack deployment. Park built a small climate chamber in a Yuseong-gu workshop and ran the units for three days. The temperature data explained every failure.
Word spread through Korean mining communities. By 2021 we had outgrown the workshop and moved to our current chamber on Example-ro, where we now run assessments for farms, hosting providers, and individual operators across South Korea.
What We Do
We are not a hardware reseller, hosting company, or mining pool. Our sole focus is independent thermal and performance review of mining equipment rated at 0.05 TH/s computing power and above. Every assessment is conducted in our Daejeon chamber with calibrated instruments and documented procedures.
Our Team
Park Seo-jin — Founder and lead thermal engineer. Fifteen years in industrial cooling before entering mining hardware review.
Kim Yuna — Chamber operations manager. Handles intake, probe placement, and continuous monitoring during 72-hour runs.
Lee Han-sol — Report analyst. Compiles temperature data, throttle logs, and deployment recommendations into client-facing documents.
Working Approach
We treat every unit as if it were going into our own rack. That means no shortened test windows, no cherry-picked ambient conditions, and no undisclosed sponsorship from hardware manufacturers. Our reports state what we measured, including results that favor neither the buyer nor the seller.
Relationship to the Mining Community
We publish field notes on our blog sharing observations about fan behavior, humidity effects, and firmware quirks—information we believe helps operators make better decisions regardless of whether they use our paid assessments.
