Case Study: Daegu Container Retrofit
A 200-unit container operation contacted us in March 2026 after noticing that units in the rear third of the container consistently ran 6–8°C hotter than the front row, with corresponding hash-rate reductions of 3–5%.
We conducted a full-day cooling consultation. Smoke pencil testing revealed recirculation at the container’s mid-section where two exhaust ducts had been partially blocked during a hasty winter modification. Our recommendations included repositioning two baffle panels and increasing aisle spacing from 40 cm to 55 cm between rows.
The operator implemented changes over a weekend. Follow-up probe checks (conducted independently) showed rear-row temperatures within 2°C of front-row units. Three months later, the operator reported stable hash rates across all positions.

Case Study: Secondary Market S19 Evaluation
An individual miner purchased a single Antminer S19 Pro from a secondary marketplace seller. The unit booted fine and showed expected hash rate for the first two hours. After twelve hours in his garage setup, hash rate dropped 18% and chip temperatures climbed past 85°C.
He shipped the unit to our Daejeon chamber. The 72-hour assessment revealed degraded thermal paste on hash board two and a partially obstructed intake grille from a previous owner’s dust filter modification. Our report documented the findings with timestamped temperature graphs.
The miner used the report to secure a partial refund from the seller. He subsequently re-pasted the board and re-ran a shortened verification with us before deploying the unit.
